Metro is proposing a more simple fare structure where no rider ever overpays and our most frequent riders who rely on the system pay less with TAP.

On the days you take Metro, how many different Metro buses and trains do you take?
On average, how many days per week do you ride Metro?

Key Fare Changes

  • Transfers will no longer be free
  • Metro 1-day, 7-day, and 30-day passes are going away.
  • Daily ($6) and weekly ($20) fare caps will activate when you use a TAP card.
